National Park Service
Gateway Arch National Park is a national park administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior. The 90-acre park includes the Gateway Arch and surrounding grounds, the Old Courthouse and Luther Ely Smith Square.

The Arch Store
The Arch Store offers visitors a dazzling array of products commemorating the many stories presented in the Arch museum. The store is operated by Jefferson National Parks Association, a proud non-profit partner of the park. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly people who enjoy interacting with park visitors from around the world. Proceeds from store sales support the public programs and exhibits at Gateway Arch National Park.
Photogenic, Inc.
At Photogenic, our employees set us apart from our competition. We put state-of-the-art imaging technology in the most capable and caring hands to ensure a combination of unparalleled customer service and photographic expertise. Our photographers take and sell souvenir photographs of the guests at the Gateway Arch. Photogenic is looking to hire 20-30 full-time, part-time and seasonal workers. Photography experience is desired, but not required. The starting pay is noted next to each position type.
The Arch Café, LLC - Evelyn Hill
Our café offers fresh, local-ingredients-focused food at the most recognizable icon in Midwestern America – The Gateway Arch. It’s a great place to learn about the hospitality industry and new cultures as people from all over America and from around the world come to see it.

The Gateway Arch Park Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to ensure that the Gateway Arch, its grounds, neighboring public space, and attractions will be a vital, welcoming, and well-supported resource for the community and nation for generations to come.
Job opportunities at the Gateway Arch
As a Gateway Arch partner, Bi-State Development (BSD) creates
visitor itineraries, provides tour guides for the Tram Ride to Top
and schedules the museum programming at Gateway Arch National Park.
Tour Guide
John Parker is a 42-year-old African American who has worked as a steamboat hand since he was a boy. Although his wife and children are free, he remains enslaved. His enslaver hires him out and John manages to keep a portion of his earnings that he plans to use to buy his freedom.
Ticket Sales Agent
Anna, age 40, her husband and their two children are immigrants from the town of Bremen, Germany. They came to St. Louis to stay with Anna's family who arrived several years earlier. Anna didn't expect St. Louis to be such a big city and is worried her children will get lost.
Call Center Agent
James B. Eads was born in Indiana in 1820, and came to St. Louis when he was 13. He was brilliant and curious, and at 22 started his own salvage company on the Mississippi River.
