Important Information for Gateway Arch and Riverboats Visits on July 4, 2024

Due to road closures for Celebrate St. Louis and America’s Birthday Parade, parking access will be significantly limited. To ensure a smooth arrival, we strongly recommend utilizing MetroLink for a convenient journey to the park.

Pre-purchasing your transit passes in advance is highly encouraged. With over 20 free Park-Ride lots available throughout the Metro system, you can park your vehicle and ride the MetroLink.

Exit at the Laclede’s Landing station for access to Gateway Arch National Park and the Riverboats.

Plan to arrive to the park grounds at least an hour early for your first ticketed attraction to account for potential crowds, travel throughout the park grounds, and to go through additional security checkpoints as part of the Celebrate St. Louis festivities.

For your reference, a map detailing the walking route from the Laclede’s Landing MetroLink station to the Gateway Arch and Riverboats is included below.

Please note that the Riverboat Cruises and Helicopter Tours are operational, however due to high river levels they are not wheelchair accessible at this time.
