12:00PM | Park Your Vehicle

Preferred parking is available at the Stadium East Parking Garage — both pre-paid and on-site parking is available. Please allow your party enough time to walk from your parking spot to Gateway Arch National Park.

12:15PM | Enter the National Park

The journey from Stadium East Parking Garage to the Gateway Arch National Park Visitor’s Center will take approximately 8-10 minutes. Upon arrival, you’re free to explore the park grounds before going inside for a security screening.

12:30PM | Security Screening

Crowds at the Gateway Arch Visitor’s Center may vary — if you bought a ticket for a Tram Ride to the Top or the “Monument to the Dream” documentary movie, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your designated time. Please familiarize yourself with our security guidelines.

12:45PM | Explore Our Free Museum

With six interactive exhibits in our FREE, world-class museum, visitors spend hours diving into the stories of days past. The Museum under the Gateway Arch spans multiple eras, including the early days of St. Louis, America’s journey west, and even the architecture contest that led to construction of a symbol of our city.

3:00PM | Discover an Award-Winning Documentary Movie

Screenings of the award-winning “Monument to the Dream” are available at the top of every hour in Tucker Theater. The 35-minute documentary movie shares the highs and lows of the Gateway Arch’s construction, from the details of the design to first-hand accounts from the builders.

4:00PM | Check Out the View

When the time designated on your tram ticket gets closer, it’s time to head to the tram entrance. Your tour guide will lead you through an interactive with 60s-era animation and trivia. You’ll have up to 10 minutes to soak up the sights — please adhere to tour guide announcements.

We recommend allowing at least 45-60 minutes for your tram tour.
