Twelfth Afternoon Ball – FREE

To celebrate the completion of the Twelve Days of Christmas, join the Gateway Arch National Park team during the Twelfth Afternoon Ball. This event, happening Saturday, Jan. 4, from noon to 5 p.m., is a nod to St. Louis’ French colonial era.

The Twelfth Afternoon Ball takes place inside the Gateway Arch Visitor Center on the mezzanine level. The event will feature live music by talented singer and fiddler Dennis Stroughmatt et L’Esprit Creole, food demonstrations by esteemed culinary historian Suzanne Corbett, dancing led by Deborah Hyland, and living history interpreters dressed in authentic 1700s clothing.

“History comes to life during the Twelfth Afternoon Ball,” said Pam Sanfilippo, Program Manager, Museum Services & Interpretation, Gateway Arch National Park. “Guests of all ages are invited to experience a historic holiday ball at this unique and beloved event at Gateway Arch National Park.”

The Twelfth Afternoon Ball is free and open to all ages. Visitors may drop in to observe at any time during the event. To learn more, visit nps.gov/jeff.
