NPS with its partners, the St. Louis Astronomical Society and Dark Sky Missouri will host Gateway Arch National Park’s Gateway to the Stars program on select dates beginning Friday, May 26, 2023, through Friday, October 27, 2023.
Each Gateway to the Stars program features a presentation by a guest speaker, followed by telescope viewing of the night sky (weather permitting). The programs will be held inside the Arch Visitor Center or outside on the West Entrance Plaza beginning at 7 p.m. The September 22, 2023, and October 27, 2023, programs will begin at 6:30 p.m.

What: Would you like to learn how to find your way around the night sky? Our Sky Ranger will provide a tour, focusing on bright stars, constellations, sky lore, the Perseid Meteor Shower, and other celestial events. There will also be a preview of the solar eclipses coming in October and next April. This program will be held rain or shine in the Education Classroom inside the Gateway Arch Visitor Center at 7 pm.
