We are an Urban National Park
Before the Gateway Arch graced our skyline, the National Park Service recognized and protected the land it currently calls home since 1935. Gateway Arch National Park puts the world’s most unique monument on display, highlights infamous suits for freedom and holds our shared stories along the river where they all began. Today, the park includes the Gateway Arch, the Old Courthouse (under renovations), a world-class museum and 91 acres of urban green space.
