ALERT: The Tram Ride to the Top of the Arch is TEMPORARILY CLOSED for system improvements until late-April 2017. During the closure, no ticket is required for entry into the Arch facility which includes The Arch Store and the award-winning documentary, "Monument to the Dream". (free showings throughout the day).

 

Please Note: The Museum of Westward Expansion, located under the Gateway Arch is closed for significant renovations. Certain artifacts from the Museum are on display in exhibit galleries at the Old Courthouse.

One-Hour Sightseeing Cruise

Take a delightful, one-hour journey back to a time when steamboats ruled the Mississippi River. Narrated by the captain or a National Park Service Ranger, this cruise highlights the history of St. Louis and the mighty river’s role today.

Admire the Gateway Arch, as well as other historical and inspiring architecture from aboard a replica nineteenth-century steamboat. During this cruise, the captain or a National Park Service (NPS) ranger* will explain how the river affects and benefits the surrounding city.

*An NPS ranger will be aboard  the 1:30pm cruise on weekends in the spring and fall; Daily on the 12pm, 1:30pm, and 3pm cruises during the summer from May 27 - September 4.

Cruises run daily March–November at various times, except Thanksgiving Day.

Location

The Gateway Arch Riverboats are located below the south leg of the Gateway Arch at 50 S. Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63102. Parking is available on the levee in front of the boats. When approaching from the south, use Chouteau Avenue to access this parking area.
