Full of Thanks

November 22, 2017

‘Tis the season to be thankful! And that we are. There are so many things to be grateful for this holiday season, but here are a few St. Louis things that we wouldn’t have any other way.

Free things to do
The folks at Trip Savvy said it best: “It’s no secret St. Louis is one of the best cities in the country when it comes to free things to do. We’re not talking about the small stuff you might find in other cities, but major attractions like the world-class St. Louis Zoo, Science Center and the St. Louis Art Museum.”

Home to the tallest manmade monument in the U.S.
What’s St. Louis without the Gateway Arch? And what’s the Gateway Arch without St. Louis? Ask any St. Louisan, having the Gateway Arch as the shining symbol of our city is something that makes all of us very proud. We can’t wait to introduce to you the brand-new visitor experience coming to the Gateway Arch in 2018.

It’s definitely a sports town
St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals… need we say more?

Incredible parks
Castlewood State Park, Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, and who can forget Forest Park? St. Louis boasts so many wonderful places to experience nature. Our city, state and national parks are very much worth your visit.

We’re growing!
St. Louis was recently named one of the 10 fastest-growing cities in America for tech jobs. An aquarium is coming to Union Station. And maybe you’ve heard about a little construction project happening downtown, and one that’s nearly complete at the Gateway Arch. Changes are indeed coming to St. Louis, and we can’t wait for what’s ahead for our incredible city!
