ALERT: The Gateway Arch Ticketing & Visitor Center has relocated to the Old Courthouse at 11 N. 4th Street. The walking distance between the Old Courthouse and the Arch entrance at the SOUTH leg is approximately 0.3 miles (7 minutes of average walking time). EACH guest planning to enter the Gateway Arch will be required to have EITHER a Journey to the Top ticket or an Arch Entry-Only ticket to be allowed access to the facility.  Tram tickets will sell out early and often - advance tickets are strongly recommended.

Please Note: The Museum of Westward Expansion, located under the Gateway Arch is closed for significant renovations. Certain artifacts from the Museum are on display in exhibit galleries at the Old Courthouse.

You’d be a great tour guide at our nation’s tallest manmade monument! The Gateway Arch is looking for enthusiastic individuals who can effectively interact with guests and ensure a memorable visit to the Arch. our guides will lead groups of up to 40 guests on their Journey To The Top.


If you’ve always have an affinity for the Mississippi River…

Apply to be a cruise coordinator! The Gateway Arch Riverboats are looking for individuals who are seeking a career on the water. Cruise coordinators are responsible for the welfare and comfort of all guests on the Becky Thatcher and Tom Sawyer riverboats as they navigate up and down the Mississippi River. 


Are you a natural-born salesperson?

Join the Gateway Arch or Gateway Arch Riverboats team by working as a cashier in ticket sales, the Riverboat Gift Shop, or Concession sales! Riverboat cashiers get to experience participating in daily sightseeing cruises, dinner cruises, and specialty cruises up and down the Mississippi River.


Do you enjoy talking to visitors about all St. Louis has to offer?

Apply to work as a call center agent for our beloved city attractions! Applicants need to possess exceptional communication and guest service skills to convey information regarding the Arch, Riverboats and the other surrounding riverfront attractions to our guests. Call center agents provide valuable information to guests while cross-selling and upselling attractions such as Arch tram rides and riverboat cruises.


Always wanted to work on a riverboat?

Being a deckhand would be the perfect job for you! The Gateway Arch Riverboats are looking for friendly individuals who enjoy being aboard riverboats. Deckhands help maintain the presence of the Becky Thatcher and the Tom Sawyer riverboats.


Are you skilled in mixing cocktails on a moving boat?
